Rio Tinto Selects Medgate for Global Occupational Health and IH Roll-outDecember 30, 2009
It is our pleasure to announce that Rio Tinto has selected Medgate as its occupational health and safety software provider for its worldwide operations. Rio Tinto will host Medgates Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene suites at their facility in Brisbane, Australia.
Medgates Occupational Health and IH products have been used for a number of years by Rio Tinto Alcan and Rio Tinto Iron Ore in Canada. Medgate has also previously implemented its Occupational Health and IH products at sites for Rio Tinto Aluminum, Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Rio Tinto-Kennecott Copper, and Rio Tinto Minerals in Australia and the US. Rio Tinto will build on these past successes and extend the use of Medgate globally.
