The Balcom award has been established in honor of Medgate's founder Murray Balcom. Murray was a visionary businessman who took great pride in the Medgate Company, Medgate family, and Medgate product. This award will be given on an annual basis to the Medgate employee that, in the opinion of Medgate's clients, best exemplifies excellence in client service, which is our core corporate value.
2008 Balcom Award Winner
All of us at Medgate would like to extend our warm congratulations to Dana Alexander, the 2008 award winner. Dana is a vital member of Medgate's client support team and exhibits the dedication, knowledge base and commitment to client service excellence exemplary of a Balcom Award winner. Her efforts are greatly appreciated by Medgate's clients and she is an invaluable asset to the Medgate team.

2007:
Louis Maurati: Louis was the recipient of the Balcom Award as a Senior Application Consultant with Medgate. Currently, Louis is Medgate's Product Manager, leading new product development.
2006:
Loana Neascu: Loana leads Medgate's programming department and exhibits tireless commitment to client service excellence.
Nominations
Medgate Employees and Medgate Clients can submit nominations for the award.
Nominations are to be received in the Medgate office by December 8th each year. A non-biased committee of Medgate employees will be formed to determine the award recipient each year. An award presentation will be made to the recipient at Medgate's annual January meeting. The winner will also be announced and given recognition at Medgate's Annual User Group Conference.

Consideration
Consideration for the award recipient will take into account the examples of customer service excellence and quality assurance that are documented in the nomination form. All employees at Medgate are eligible for this award.
